High Fells - carborundum grit and drypoint print has been selected for the RBSA Print Prize exhibition

Royal Society of Artists' Print Prize exhibition

I have been selected to exhibit a carborundum/drypoint print ‘High Fells’ in the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists’ Print Prize exhibition at the RBSA’s gallery in Brook Street, Birmingham. The exhibition runs from Tuesday 18 January – Saturday 26 February

The image was created from a drawing that I made when painting and drawing in the Lake District last June. I have glued carborundum grit onto a printing plate and also used a sharp drypoint needle to make grooves. Ink was rubbed into the plate which was printed on my etching press.
